The Knots and Entanglements of Language In Consciousness.
Semantics and sophistry do not a reality make or perhaps a more accurate statement is that they do represent a reality, however, it is a reality isolated within it's own subjective limitations of language as well as being a referential tool and not the object in of itself.
Sometimes we see one gets entangled with the other as though they were transferable when they are not. Perhaps the term subconscious is a subjective misnomer, in the sense that it implies a both a split hierarchy of parallel paths within consciousness that has yet to be demonstrated as well as an assumption in Freudian terms that repressed cognition is somehow vaguely distinct from it's embedding within awareness by the act of suppression in compartmentalization.
Language and terminology create a self referential set of conceptual logistics that fail to describe for instance, an "apple" much in the same way "subconscious" fails to describe a similar complex phenomenon of relationships.
Some of you may be aware that this entanglement of consciousness was recognized several centuries ago as it was outlined in "The Crest Jewel of Discrimination" or Viveka-Chudamani by Sankara. More recently, in the work of William Burroughs, this metaphysical concept was manipulated by the fictional Nova Police whose assignments was to create and aggravate either new or existing conflicts utilizing "the virus of language." Layered within this perspective is the Sufi view that the objectiveness of truth is like a clear liquid that takes on the coloration of it's container.
Visual Images as Symbolic language
If thought is limited by language than the result of thought which is knowledge,then perhaps a great deal of knowledge is perhaps similarly limited and constrained if one identifies consciousness itself with thought. Try a simple experiment, if you concentrate on the content of thought, you lose the direction in which it is heading and if you concentrate on the direction toward which it is advancing, you lose the sharpness of the content. A simultaneous external event such as the arrangement of objects in a relationship propels the movement of thought by associations in awareness which is a momentum or movement in a spacial dimension of "thought objects"
In a quantum situation where the observer and the observed interact to create a third or interpolated reality, perhaps "thought objects" biases the uncertainty principle by archetype, or if you will the conceptualization made manifest by the container it is refracting within which in turn organizes this potential materiality into a shape constrained by the limitations of "thought objects." If we layer cultural stereotypes within this process of individuation, perhaps this is why we see shape shifters among Native Americans, fairy folk among the Celts, abductions in the U.S, goat suckers in South America... none of which apparently cross this line of cultural demarcation..or the shifting of aerial anomalies from airships to saucers to triangular winged craft within a seemingly inexhaustible variety of types from boxes to cylinders to pyramids, cones and so forth? Then we have the ghost ships which ply the water.
A Quantum Field of Materialization
If this is so and we consider the myriad shapes, entities and nonsensical events in a variety of settings, and we say to ourselves, alright..if there is one a priori factor behind what is being visualized and to an extent made manifest in "physical evidence" in direct proportion to our reinforcement of our own conceptualizations en mass, then we must consider that our awareness by perception may be influenced to a lesser or greater extent by an unknown field of energetic quantum force.In this sense perhaps, impressions upon the organic landscape may be a result of psychokinesis, rather than a force of weight or shape.
Perhaps this is a causation of delimited phenomenon only made a recognizable locus of our attention by observation that we mold and attenuate by the default "thought forms" or containers we provide for it. Malleable manifestations are a key characteristic which may be differentiated by a projection of interpretation which in turn gives rise to form. Also when one considers a state of potential and then reads the accounts of objects and entities that manifest either as phantasms or appear only to vanish, we can perhaps speculate that this interim state they inhabit is a potential quantum state that is both "here" and "not here". We may also consider the well established filtering mechanisms of the human mind, the orientation of body image enmeshed in the duality of here\not here, our abstracted thoughts locked in associations and identifications ....all of which may establish a defacto barrier, a protective membrane of isolation toward these states.. inoculated by the artifice of persona.
Conversely, if we examine both The Egyptian and Tibetan Books of The Dead, we encounter this same phenomenon of thought forms albeit in a extra dimensional state wherein the observer interacts with the manifestation of phenomenon which arises from oneself and interacts as an exteriorised agent as well simultaneously shifting it's form in relation to the state and station of the observer...all of this occurs when the interactive digestive organ of personality is disassociated from the context of it's position between external stimulus and the internal reactive behaviors of thought. Thought then becomes a non local locus of manifestation which may indicate a link between the non locality of these phantasms and ourselves as two sides of the same coin.
An Unrecognized Natural Phenomenon?
We must then ask ourselves an important question, are we randomly being exposed to a field increasingly that provides this phenomenon and if so, from whence does it arise? If this were a non lethal weapon, it certainly would be effective, and if it were a as yet unrecognized natural phenomenon, how far could it influence, distort or even radically change the nature of what we define as reality itself? Is this a metamorphosis akin to the already known trans formative facets of nature that we can empirically recognize, only in this instance since it is dependent and intertwined within ourselves, does this make this phenomenon seemingly hide in plain sight? Does this account for it's random nature of exposure, in other words like weather, like the distribution of clouds and so forth, perhaps exposure to this field is entirely prone to statistical probability? Perhaps this field arises in relation to a correlation of events such as unusual solar activity or within the magnetosphere itself or any number of combinatorial unrecognized environmental possibilities. Can a wave become manifest as a particle on a macroscopic scale due to some unknown intermittent and intervening force in the environment and consequently, is this why some geographical areas are more prone to these events? Or, more specifically, why some buildings contain ghosts while others do not and never will? Is there a organic perhaps inherited sensitivity to these quantum fields that manifests itself in mediumship? Does exposure to this field result in a psychological phenomenon of disassociation which accounts for episodes of missing time?
Quantum Mirrors of Consciousness
Recent experimentations in the induction of false sensory signals in a intense stimulation of cerebral cortex may indicate albeit a similar but more global effect under the influence from a yet unrecognized form of quantum field.
Or perhaps more likely from historical accounts in folklore, myth and legend is this a faculty we have possessed in interaction with this natural phenomenon all along only we have failed to recognize both the benefit and the absolute danger it represents..or perhaps this potential evolutionary quantum reality is possessed by others more advanced than ourselves and we, as observers, are unable to interact in any meaningful way with it's many forms of manifestation? Our own limitations of thought objects or forms may misconstrue any dialog or message as a refracted and nonsensical series of events or meanings due to our own inability to avoid an autonomic response of cognition based our projected expectations. Perhaps this confluence of inner and outer realities are dimensionally cast as a mixed message where both sides of a dialog are present in a singular form. It would be as if one person where speaking while the other was putting words in the other parties mouth simultaneously.
Could this be present on a subconscious level in EVP phenomenon wherein we are unwitting ventriloquists? Does a ghost appear or do UFOs, or for that matter, EVP's appear when no one as an observer is present? My intuition tells me this is unlikely and is a provocative consideration in lieu of any other possibility. Perhaps we are looking in the wrong directions for our answers.If we are open to acknowledging the possibility that there is a common mechanism behind several categories of paranormal events, perhaps we can search for the commonalities rather than differences in these facets of an unknown force.
