The Chimera Versus Adaptative Behavior

An Extraterrestrial Sociology

This post examines our preoccupation and paradigms toward government agencies that are demonstrated in theories of their "managing" the UFO phenomenon which is juxtaposed against it's opposite, the behavior of the objects we study, which have demonstrated no interest whatsoever in these governmental creatures of our own human design. Perhaps this preoccupation has more to do with our imprinted and ingrained models of belief in the models of human governance than it does with any non human potential extraterrestrials. Our energies toward a theoretical model of consensus in governance may be closing the door on what is actually occurring. It also may be revealing a dependence which owes a great deal to BF Skinner, that we would prefer not to acknowledge directly, but rather infer by an anticipation of reward. These paradigms of governance also impact the anticipation of a singular event on distinctly human terms. This circular misdirection of our own attention is inevitable. In turn, by our own behavior we anticipate to be managed.
This behavior demonstrates a unique and misleading characteristic of our species, which has nothing to do with one that is non human. These sociological traits that are uniquely inbred in our planetary isolation as a sentient species, that in of itself, is an important facet of human psychology toward inter species communication seem to have a autonomic dynamic of self referential reinforcement by repetition.
In other words, what constitutes a sentient species may be a uniquely human view of our own state and position which may not share the same defining characteristics of a non human species. As a consequence, we may not be viewed as sentient in the same manner as we define ourselves. If we poll this planet's leading proponents of evolved behavior as integrated with consciousness, why do not see the Dalai Lama or whom ever we care to chose as a paragon of our virtues, having been communicated with?
We project ourselves upon others in lieu of a scale of comparison.


Governance By Consensus As A Sentient Creature.
Capitalism and democracy have evolved into such a fixation of attention from it's deeply ingrained entanglement that a common and critical assumption (which has become a quasi cultural religion),that they are one and the same enormous creature or managerial entity, whose regulatory agencies that follow a set of prescriptions based on this melding of republican commerce, have an inevitable and self referential paradigm of evolution that all situations can be legislated or steered by committee and can be controlled by edict and proclamation. We have to a great extent, a macrocosm of a state managed economies which on the microcosmic scale, personal choices are managed for the greater good of the economic nation state, which has created such a vast compendium of prescriptions for situational management.
It is equally inevitable that they are subject to entropy and irrelevance, which in turn leads to more legislation to ammend past decisions, which, in turn, creates more modifications, inclusions and exclusions. These are produced in varying forms, examined, discussed and then debated prior to being voted upon. This governance overall requires, as of last year,over two million individual functionaries on the federal level alone. If we compare this process to that of a individual some very obvious comparisons are immediately available. The creature of governance has an astonishingly slow process of reactive behavior which is inevitably slowed down by it's own growth. It is not as conscious as a individual as to context, freedom of choices, introspection, effective behavior and means of perception or for that matter, effective communication. If we average the intelligence of this creature accordingly and compare it to that of the individual, we can easily determine that it is not as intelligent as an individual. The great irony of course is that this is the creature our fortunes largely depend upon. An inverse rule of developmental progress may be at play.

The Dynamic of Adaptive Behavior In Governance
When you combine the evolutionary growth of this creature of governance, to it's organic inability to react swiftly, we can easily determine that these creatures in our bestiary have a youth, adulthood and old age before passing away to be replaced by the next generation. Inasmuch as the timespan of civilizations or entities of governance appear to be shrinking in accordance to their ability to adapt on a evolutionary scale to their natural environment which is the capability to manage not only the affairs of what is attempting to be governed by edict and proclamation but also it's own vitality as well, we then have to factor in the organic state of this creature of governance with it's diminishing capability to manage change.

Exponential Rate of Change Vs Adaptive Behavior
If we examine the rate of growth of integrated economic republican governance on a global scale and compare it to the rate of transformation in it's arsenal of scientific technology, communication skills, perception and so forth as an individuated creature in order to manage it's own inter-agency affairs as well as manage us as individuals, we see also, not surprisingly, that the rate of unaddressable issues is also growing and severely outracing the ability of this creature to adapt as well as the rate of change is also increasing. Increasingly also, perhaps on a instinctual basis we originally sensed the growth of this entropic state of affairs, and increasingly we see this creature stumbling over it's own feet.

A Purposeful or Inadvertent Agent?.

If one saw this from an extraterrestrial point of view, in simple terms, this would mean a recognition of this dynamic and the need for the introduction of a strategic set of tactics to highlight this inability to cope with the introduction of a perfect chimera, the perfect foil to destabilize this creature in very specific terms to underline it's inability to not only adapt, but to manage it's own heft when in fact, it has no means to do so when the target keeps roiling this facet or Achilles Heel by changing by consistently transforming it's anomalous nature at a significantly higher rate of change than the capability of it's target audience to adapt or more importantly, let alone manage it's own patently unmanageable state, whether in reactive behavior or analyzing the portent of this most illusive and interactive phenomenon as a psychological probe.
Whether this is intentional or coincidental or entangled is for you to decide based upon your own conceptual models of not only yourself but that of the interface you are dependent upon with the exterior, historical world.


Individuated Rate of Transformation Versus Governance of Change
This disparity is another nested dynamic within a larger one in that as Gurdjieff often commented, that real change in the transformation of our effective behavior en masse begins with the individual and the only hope for mankind was the transformation of individuals within the larger confines of the historical world. If you examine the recognition and processing as well as integration of this UFO phenomenon to that of our creature of governance, we may have an indirect validation of this observation as a tactical truism which we can examine by penetrating below the radar of the phenomenon itself and analyzing these various inter-relationships in a broader context. Someone has set the kettle fire of anomalous activity up to boil, who or what, if any single agent is present, has intentionally or inadvertently tease the daylights out of material science and perhaps does this explain, the lack of direct contact, which would be counterintuitive if this is truly a ploy and not a discrete attempt at intervention directly ?The U.S. Department of Defense defines psychological warfare (PSYWAR) as:"The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement. While this is certainly within the context of imperial governance, one must look at the larger issue, in that perhaps hostility is in the eye of the beholder. Hostility of what toward what? This engenders a deeper analysis of our dynamic of psychological processes of integrating a wide variety of facets particularly those that are present in the current situation toward an aim of discerning a threat from an opportunity. The critical assumption of threat may be more present in the radical transformation of paradigms than the militaristic behavior we project upon another species as a human trait. This is true of individuals in terms of making this choice of creating a preemptive conceptual threat versus the recognition of the threat we ourselves pose, whereas in terms of the nation state, it may be incapable of such a discernment hence an inability to formulate such a decision. This is especially true when the behavior of the phenomenon in question is in defiance of any predictably logical human purpose other than the demonstration of it's capability to appear and vanish at will. This magic trick may be the focus of our intent while it is the magician's role in providing these sets of stimulus perhaps is what is lost.


Psychological Dissonance As A Wedge Vs Traditional Models.
By simple deduction, we note the reality behind two apparently divergent paths which may be two limbs of the same movement. One is the proclamation that this phenomenon does not constitute a hostile threat and on the other hand, if it is not, there are intelligence resources and activities devoted to monitor it. This may indicate the inability of this phenomenon to be recategorized in traditional strategic terms. If this is a phenomenon that utilizes quantum mechanisms, particularly one in which the interaction of the observer and the observed is a key feature, then all of the conspiracy theories we may muster may be irrelevant inasmuch as it is more probable that monitoring is the only recourse from a practical point of view that is possible from a governmental perspective. This is also evidenced in the more openly and similarly conducted research and acknowledgments from countries other than the U.S. If this is so, many be inadvertently promoting the false critical assumption that the theoretical governance and management of this phenomenon is a practical and empirical reality, thus putting the shoe on the wrong foot. What is equally telling is the lack of direct contact which again prompts the notion of a psychological probing operation versus an empirically driven plan of execution, should one exists. The fact that the opportunity to do so has been with us for decades, if not centuries, which cannot be discounted or worse, discarded in our analysis that this phenomenon willfully utilizes varying degrees of sensate disassociation using symbology as it's sole means of communication. rather than this same energy harnessed to a empirical task.

An Extra terrestrial's Observable Trend Analysis
One of the most difficult considerations of any earthly futurist or for that matter any business concern is to accurately foresee and plan for future events and the trending which accompanies a shift that can be forestalled or navigated by reactive behaviors and strategies. While our governmental model may be conducting this self same analysis in terms of this phenomenon, we can see that the same efforts when harnessed to our current growing list of regional problems which then exponentially grew into global ones, the management of these issues has been both woefully unresponsive in direct proportion to the magnitude of the problem. However, if one has a longer view of human history, one can easily determine as our own archeologist's and historians are beginning to reveal, that cultural and social trending in relation to the recognition of issues and the governance of same have both predictable and foreseeable results. If extraterrestrials are at play, they could certainly foresee the early indications of our current situation which makes for a distinctive point of reference for determining what if any interactive role would be, should one be a role they would undertake. No one has landed and said "Hey knock off the fossil fuels" three or four decades ago...or here is your answer on a silver plate. This strongly indicates if anything if there is any role it is one of indirect influence rather than an overt steering of consensus. The enormous spectrum of observations, experiences and observers should be telegraphing that this is not an empirical phenomenon with matching human behaviors as we understand understand them to be. The medium may indeed be the message.

The Role of The Individual
Perhaps in all of this, we can return back to the direct role of the individual, the role of direct experience, the role of a wide geographic distribution, the role of choice in observation, in form, in type, in observed behavior, of any number of variants which may point to the key aim of an individual experience rather than a singular global event. Perhaps a more pointed question is at hand. Which is more likely to adapt, the individual or the governmental entities to an extraterrestrial presence? Perhaps what we are witnessing is the unfolding of such a strategy that accomplishes an efficient end run around those who assume they are managing our affairs on our behalf in order to accomplish a true transformation of paradigms rather than by one of edict. This is a phenomenon that transposes itself onto the individuated tunneling of our inner conceptual models of reality. It operates from within to extend outward by a process of disassociation by manipulating outward symbological materiality. Or,if you prefer you may ask yourself,is this a fleet of alien B1 bombers? Your choice. That question among many could be the point of the exercise.


Anthropomorphic Models of Contact.
Our models of contact are irrelevant as it is their potential models we should be concerned with, at least, on a equal footing. What I mean by this is that our classical model is a cultural and social mirror of human activity whereas theirs obviously, are not. We define contact as a singular event where the truth may be we have already been contacted and are unable to recognize the fact that we have. Our human models of proof are empirical by nature. Show me a wheel off the landing gear. Our models of contact are a based on a singular event rather than a process. Our models of life are models based on material physics. We may wait until the mountains turn to soil before we consider that our long awaited tea ceremony on the lawn of the United Nations where we have lunch with the delegates of X to be a projection of our own inability to fathom other possibilities other than those in our culture. In other words, what we see may be what we get and waiting for governmental acknowledgment or disclosure may just as easily be a colloquial illusion, a proverbial silver bullet or a faux comprehension that is tailored for our own capability of digestion rather than something that challenges the deepest foundational and conceptual models of what constitutes reality.


It is seldom considered that this phenomenon may in of itself be a interactive probe, a sentinel of sorts and not a discrete set of circumstance, in that it may be a straw dog to gather gather data as to our state and station in relation to our own circumstance and thus, would have no role in our affairs in of itself. The very behavior, perhaps in relation to the set of symbols placed before us is a, if you will, a highly evolved mechanism that undertakes a psychological testing regimen whose symbols change in accordance with the context of sociological and cultural environment of our species.
If anything, this situation suggests that our grasp as well as our horizons need to be broadened. Every indication is that this phenomenon requires the extension of ourselves toward it rather than the other way 'round. We have fallen back on every cultural cliché to no avail.Like Plato's cave dwellers we may have, in the final analysis , an extremely naive and overly egoistic bias toward our own species competence to tell the forest from the trees.
