The Quantum and Metaphysical Context of A Crop Circle.

A Synchronization of Patterns
Dedicated To Gregory Bateson

"If we pursue this matter further, we shall be told that the stable object is unchanging under the impact or stress of some particular external or internal variable or, perhaps, that it resists the passage of time."
Gregory Bateson

This post draws upon the respective theories of Islamic metaphysics and quantum physics, as well as Christian metaphor, geometry and music theory in relation to current events to examine the potential interrelated aspects of what we term "crop circles." This being a exercise in a math where all sums equal one.

The Seals of Wisdom
Long before the comparably recent discovery of quantum mechanics, which as Alan Watts pointed out, should be called quantum organics, there was a gentleman who was a Metaphysician, by the name of Ibn Al Arabi who wrote a book entitled The Seals of Wisdom, which was also long before the impressions or seals upon the organic fabric of our planet began to instantaneously appear as what we call crop circles. In this passage note the relationship of quantum theory to his text and in particular how it relates to consciousness. Note the focus on interrelationships as in a quantum context between a quantum reality and one which he terms, "in time."

"Examine this connection between individual intelligibles and stence (wider meaning)is necessary, rather, it is necessary by another, not by itself. As knowledge determines the one who participates in it – as he is called knowing – so the one who is described by it can determine the knowledge. It is in-time in relation to the one in-time and non-time in relation to the one in non-time. Each of the two is determining and determined. It is known that these universal matters, even if they are intelligible, lack a source although they still have an authority. When they are determined, since they are ascribed to an individual existent thing, they accept the principle in the existent sources and do not accept distinction or fragmenting, for that is impossible for them. They themselves are in everything described by them, as humanity is in every person of this particular species, without distinction or the numbering which affects individuals; and it continues to be intelligible.

Now, as there is a connection between that which has an individual existence and that which does not have one – and it is a non-existent relationship – so the connection of existents to each other is easier to conceive because, in any case, there is a common factor between them which is individual existence. In the other, there is no common factor, yet there is a connection despite the lack of a common factor. So it is stronger and more real when there is a common factor. Without a doubt, the in-time establishes itself as being put into time and it needs something in time to put it into time. It has no place in itself so it exists from something other-than-it, and it is linked to That by the dependence of need. This dependence must be on That whose existence is necessary, which is independent in Its existence by Itself without need. It is That which, by Its own essence, gives existence to the in-time which depends on It. Since the existence of Its essence is necessary and what appears from It depends on It for its essence, it nevertheless depends on its form for everything which is from a name or attribute, except for the essential necessity. That is not the property of it in-time, even if its existence is necessary, rather, it is necessary by another, not by itself. "

And then we return to the image of a seal once again, a seal being affixed as representative of ownership. Perhaps a crop circle that is to say the ones which are not reproduced in mimicry, could be considered a seal upon the land.

"And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."
- Revelation 6:5, 6, King James Version

Perhaps in a quantum relationship, this brings new meaning to the maxim; 'As Above, So Below" Both oil and wine being representative as we know of the ancient act of anointing a shared sacredness to, in this case, the wheat and barley, we need only look to our current state and station in relation to nature to observe this context in the spontaneous appearance of these symbological signposts amidst a food source and not elsewhere. This is a set of choices that are manifest in this the course of our species affairs, as Joesph Campell observed; "If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it's not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That's why it's your path". As in the metaphor of the balance scale, choices on this path must be comparatively weighed. Again, the reemergence of myth is noted as opposed to the rationality of logic,a signature is at play.

A Tribal History of Resources
"That is because people believe in progress and culture. There is no progress whatever. Everything is just the same as it was thousands, and tens of thousands, of years ago. The outward form changes. The essence does not change. Man remains just the same. 'Civilized' and 'cultured' people live with exactly the same interests as the most ignorant savages. Modern civilization is based on violence and slavery and fine words." -GI Gurdjieff

Our story begins in a turbulent Israel forcibly occupied by a standing Roman army in it's expansionist policy of imperialist colonization in a quest for the exploitation of increasing resources for the benefit of their economy. The resulting immigration of Roman citizens into this colonial province created a demand for real estate on Roman terms which meant, much like it does today, ownership, titles, and all the legalities which accompany such transactions today. However, it was a standing matter of religious practice among the Israelites that the land belonged to their Creator and could not be sold. However, behind closed doors, the high priests of the temple were cutting deals left and right with their occupiers, giving title to land which they were given the responsibility to keep sacred. This created a roiling anger barely hidden beneath the surface of daily affairs in this long ago situation.
We move forward in time to another period of presumed manifest destiny in the American West, wherein the Native People held much the same view of the land and we know how this particular story went. The exploitation and ownership of natural resources as a source of tribal conflict is a thread as old as mankind, that remained with us in the transition between nomadic hunting and gathering to the onset of agrarian based communities to our present day, with all stops in between. The Germans expansionist plans for the resources of what they termed the western territories of Russia to fuel their economy and the denial of Japans request for access to resources created led to the last global war. As I write this, China among other nations has an insatiable and growing appetite for a certain resource, oil, which is increasingly becoming scarce. The issue of ownership, again, comes to the fore.

From Food To Fuel: A Global Hunger.
The inability to transition between a civilization based upon the progressive conveyance of technology particularly the short sighted reliance on a world economy based upon the singular invention of the automobile, has resulted in a human infrastructure which has become inexorably tied to it's fate as nearly every facet of daily life has been made dependent upon it by design. Of course the onset of global food shortages has begun due to the rising cost of fuel and most importantly the conversion of corn to fuel in an attempt to keep the automobile and our civilization afloat, which in turn has impacted the cost of rice in the world economy.

Predictive Behaviors and Crop Circles
So with the somewhat myopic view of hindsight can we say that these crop circles represent both a seal of unknown ownership of a much more, shall wes ay,global nature, perhaps even one not of a terrestrial origin? If so,perhaps our inability to read the portent of where they appear as a context to why they appear may shed light upon the purpose of their origin should one exist. Is our current state of affairs predictable to another? If so we recall GI GGurdjieff's words; "There is no progress whatever. Everything is just the same as it was thousands, and tens of thousands, of years ago. The outward form changes. The essence does not change. Man remains just the same." Is this so? Or are the formations an existential act? Your choice as always. Of course if you are to affix a seal upon something, it must be both attributable and coherent in order for the discernment of it's differentiation from the organization of nature itself, especially as you have chosen nature as your medium, which of course is the message, which is then affirmed by it's traceable, sentient origin.

Then we have the context. The definition of synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which occur in a meaningful manner, but which are causally unrelated. In order to be synchronous, the events must be related to one another conceptually, and the chance that they would occur together by random chance must be very small. And so here is a story of resources in the natural world, of ownership, of spontaneous seals that are sentient, of an unknown origin, in the fields of sustainment upon nature itself.

Coincidence?

Bruce I have warned many people of the consequences of pumping biofuels into their hummers while indigenous marginalized people starve to death.

I can assure you that many of those I spoke with did consider what I was saying but very few gave it a second thought.

It is my contention that the compulsion for pathological behaviour is closely linked to the food we eat and it's processing.

Our food is directly modifying our behavior to new heights of cruelty.

I would encourage you to have a good hard look at GM food containing bacterial DNA and associated plasmids and food additives in regards to behaviour modification. In particular Vitamin 25D (Vitamin D).

The food riots have started. People are going to face some hard choices.

Really Great Work Bruce - Keep it coming.

PS - I'd like to know more about the concept of immune systems and how they might relate to your thesis.

There is a fellow I know who is a psychologist that specializes in the treatment of addictions who is very knowledgeable about the subject of metabolizing and the effects of these substances which include synthetic additives on what he terms "clear thinking" which is a fascinating topic...I agree, but... I sincerely do not know enough about this subject to write about it. I just read that the coastal salmon species has collapsed....over 1,000 fishermen out of a living....and so it goes.

Hello Bruce, I'm new to your blog, just found it on the link back from my video on youtube "The Answer to the Crop Circle Mystery" I think you may have removed it because i cant find it on your blog. not important..It did give me a reason to read quite a bit of your writing. we have very smilier minds, and i have the very same problems compacting my ideas/thoughts into "acceptable/normal" paragraphs, i always need to add details, an effort to feel like what Ive wrote, says exactly what I'm thinking. I'm dyslexic aswell..so Ive found writing awfully tedious labored hard work. but im lucky in the respect of my creative/artistic talent. I use visuals/art/videos to talk to people. my crop video is pretty to look at, and rythmic to keep a pace that will hold the attention of the stupid people, and a mix of algerbra and logic, but primarily i used a new binary system which i created/discovered. my system has nothing to do with computer langauge. and works with more than just crops. it is more a discovery than a personal creation. i say this because...since i created it, ive also discovered its used everywhere. all crops are man made. they suggest what they suggest. simplicity is the key to enlightenment. The answer is "O" (GOD). the hard part to describe is how to remove all the data since the creation/discovery of "O", i decided the best place to hide it was where everybody else hides things. right in front of peoples eyes. because people may look, but dont have the required mental functions to see what they are not configerded to understand. feral humans need work, not logic, when the work dries up. its time for a spring clean. dont be too supprised if one day prior to a future war..a big holograhic god like hand pops out of the clouds to instigate the war. I meam, what else is technology for if its not to win. theres out the box..and then theres out the shpere,..Im the latter. Great blog i shall return on a regular basis Bruce. your a very unique interesting person with a fine ability to connect through your writting. Excellent keep up the good work.
peace
