Part Two: The UFO As A Probe and Beacon: An Eye In The Sky

The Paradox of That Which Purposefully Hides In Plain Sight

"If we have learned one thing from the history of invention and discovery, it is that, in the long run - and often in the short one - the most daring prophecies seem laughably conservative."
-Arthur C. Clarke, The Exploration of Space, 1951

A Type Three Civilization and The Locus Of Mind and Matter

Most of us if not all of us recognize the uncanny ability of science fiction writers to foresee technological advances far into a future that they have yet to experience themselves. At the same time we note that in our own time, Arthur C Clarke foresaw the advent of geo-stationary communications satellites, however, did he also unlock the UFO mystery? Will quantum mechanics unlock the fourth dimension and if so, have others in a Type 3 civilization already have long ago navigated this realm and if so, have they posted a sentinel to monitor our our progress toward this goal bearing in mind the precarious nature of our cultural anthropology? Further, what of the asteroid 1685 Toro, which will intersect our orbital position in 2012? Would such a civilization intervene should this prove to be a intermittent and cyclic bad actor in our planetary history? Is there a common thread between seemingly disparate facets of a phenomenon? I read with interest, the latest post by Peter Fotis Kapnistos who noted those who experience these internalized extra-dimensional events find "They are known and made use of by intelligent extraterrestrials to circulate and publicize particular facts of the UFO enterprise."

The proclivity of a viral proof in the pudding regarding the effectiveness of this tact is that you are reading this.

A young woman recently "abducted" recounted the latest version of what seems to be a recurring theme;

"I was shown a series of light images that would appear in the air, inside the ship. I saw chaos and destruction. The light images seemed to display an impact from some kind of meteorite or maybe a comet. There were high waters covering cities, there were buildings collapsing, fires everywhere. The largest alien pointed to the light images and wanted me to focus on the images."

In 2006,Richard Boylan recounted the vision of a Native American experiencer, a woman named Maria who "stated that a large planetoid fragment is on its way in "back towards Earth", (thus suggesting its orbital path brings it close to Earth.) In its travel, it will dislodge from current position several fragments in the Asteroid Belt. Apparently the large planetoid will not strike Earth but come close. However, one of the sizeable asteroids dislodged will travel to Earth and strike in the South Atlantic Ocean between lower Africa and lower South America."

The theme of an asteroid is a common thread in many accounts.

For our purposes,we begin at the early part of the last century when the initial interest in the potentiality of the fourth dimension in relation to communicating or venturing into this new field became a hot topic for theoretical speculation by Hinton, Ouspensky and a certain Dr Schofield. The following link will connect you to Oxford University's electronic archive where you can download his dissertation on this topic. The relationship to the paranormal is unmistakable. We also note the strange experiential accounts of those who either knowingly or unwittingly have been in close proximity to what we term a UFO, which seems to indicate a very unique influence upon our species perception. The hypercube of the fourth dimension and\or the Tetraspace it represents, has a very interested geometric dimensionality in that the inside can become the outside and inversely so. With this in mind can this nexus be found in the dimensions of thought itself wherein what we input into it, can be mirrored back to us as a intermediary form of sensory feedback? Is there an equivalent of a wormhole in consciousness that punches through time and the result being some very bizarre effects if it comes in contact with a more global environment having the same characteristics, as in, lets say, a UFO? According to the quantum nature of the mind, as studies and current research suggests, this is entirely a possibility.

Another consideration are the scale of density of material objects as observed and their positioning in space time. Consider that if an object occupies both local and non local dimensions, would that account for their intermediate and fluxing quality?
Could it occupy two states of matter at once and then phase to one or the other at will by reorientation? One considers again the strange state of our own presynaptic gateways wherein they can also occupy two states at once, and so is an there entrainment between the two, a field where here or there becomes moot?

Essentially Dr Schonfield's view was that any communication or experiential knowledge of this dimension would be found in the nexus where the material and immaterial meet in the mind, which, remarkably predates modern quantum modeling of brain function by some on hundred years. Hinton himself was famous for his descriptions of dimensional and illustrative experiential accounts of this dimension as well as how bizarre our own three dimensional space would be to one not accustomed to it. The point being here is that we are so anchored in our orientation, the movement internally into another aspect of dimensionality would be incommensurable to any we had experienced previous to it. The instantaneous movement of UFO experiencers from one location to another come to mind. In other words they are home in bed and yet they are not. Is this a portion of the puzzle box that the fourth dimension has mapped?

"An unspeakable horror seized me. There was a darkness; then a dizzy sickening sensation of sight that was not like seeing: I saw a Line that was no Line; Space that was not Space. I was myself and not myself. When I could find a voice, I shrieked aloud in agony "Either this is madness or it is Hell." "It is neither" calmly replied the voice of the Sphere, "it is Knowledge; it is Three Dimensions."
-A Square, protagonist of Flatland (1884), upon entering Spaceland

The Locus of Observation: A Marker and An Eye

The mathematician that conceptualized the fourth dimension was Charles Howard Hinton. In 1880, he wrote an article titled “What is the fourth dimension?” in which he first introduced the idea of a fourth dimension that represented time. One thing he said to help understand the fourth dimension is that while you can see all of a 3-D object, you can never see all of a 4-D object. The reason for this is that humans are 3-D objects. But as 3-D objects, we cannot view the entire object. He made many new words to help describe the new elements of the fourth dimension such as the Tesseract which is defined as the four-dimensional analog of the three-dimensional cube. These words were first noted in his 1888 book A New Era of Thought. For the uninitiated even the third dimension would be a intimidating and paranormal state of affairs. One notes that the UFO phenomenon encompasses both paranormal as well as more semi empirical attributes, seemingly appearing anywhere and anywhere in a apparently random fashion

Another attribute worth considering is the ability of this phenomenon to be positioned in space time without any apparent means of propulsion which seeming uses space time itself to localize and simultaneously vanish.

In the last post, I speculated that a fourth dimensional portal would provide not only a consistent referential marker across cultural anthropology but would also be self referential as a library of experiential ontology. Sound too strange? A long term positional and passive sentinel with quantum effects upon observation may be a possibility. Again we seem to find a correspondence in our own affairs.

“To me, archives are the fundamental source material, a mean of communication across time. We allow the generations to talk to each other, we work in the fourth dimension. What we preserve and maintain, what we inherit from our predecessors and what we add ourselves are all part of this communication process. Each generation asks questions about its past, depending on its concerns about its future. To me, archives are essentially about the future."

-Ian Wilson Librarian and Archivist of Canada, who was elected President of the International Council of Archives (ICA) in July 2008.

I suggested the theoretical basis of a four dimension beacon that exists simultaneously through our own recorded history would be the equivalent of Clarke's monolith awaiting a future generation who have the technological capability to make direct contact versus our own cultural theories that put the cart before the horse. It's purpose is exclusively to be seen, which infers a perhaps an extra dimensional marker, the equivalent of both a purposeful Rosetta and touch stone. The onus is upon us and not it, to reach it's level of complexity when we are capable of doing so. Otherwise as I said in the last post they may as well be conversing with alligators or dogs. Of course our own inflated sense of self importance in regard to our state of knowledge discounts this possibility as a territorial imperative whose psychology is it's greatest weakness as well as the incompleteness theory as related to logic, which in our stage of development (when it comes to this phenomenon) is entirely circular and self referential. This probe\beacon is within and outside of space time as we experience time directly via the mechanical velocity of a proverbial pocket watch which, by its own nature, makes this situation immeasurable and incommensurable as it is seemingly positioned both above and alongside of us as well as having strange effects psychologically toward those in it's proximity. No wonder. The same quality that makes it a chimera also allows a technological advantage in transmitting data over vast distances simultaneously possible, in a potentially infinite directional positioning toward it's monitoring agency. If this is a transceiving probe, then the capability to transmit by our measurement "backward in time" that would allow a level of feedback one cannot fathom without the use of seeing our own course of development in it's preliminary evolution heading down this self same path, perhaps a century from now.

What many paranormal researchers fail to note when seldom venturing outside of their own field is that there is plenty of validation for the earnestness of their quest should they explore further outside of it. Additionally this may infer that others may have traversed this path in advance of us in many applications.

From Albany Times Union (Albany, NY):

Researchers add twist of time; RPI professors win $2M grant to include fourth dimension in simulation that studies effects of radiation.(

Byline: Eric Anderson

TROY - For years, two Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute researchers have worked in three dimensions. Now, the professors are confronting the fourth dimension. Xie George Xu and Suvranu De have been awarded a $2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to simulate the fourth dimension - time - in their computerized model of the human body. Their Visible Photographic, or VIP, Man is a virtual human useful for simulating how radiation treatments affect human organs and tissues.

Of course the masking of this probe could be perhaps illustrated by a device of the imagination wherein quantum television is a reality a century from now as an interactive amusement which mirrors an image on it's screen entirely derived from it's observer. Whether this masking of this monitoring device we call the UFO is intentional or inadvertent is left for you to fathom.

Consider the modern day experiential illustration of the fourth dimension called Tetraspace. The UFO observer's referential bias mirrored back in a form that has been supplied by the semiotic input as a bias, also seemingly can appear and disappear with any apparent traversing of space time.Remember the wide variety of shapes this phenomenon presents? Compare these to fourth dimensional shapes.

An Increase in The Velocity of Sightings= The Velocity of Transitional Events

We start back at Part One of this short essay and find the velocity of transition or transformation of our species is also on a parallel path of exponential change. Dr Michio Kaku explains this much better than I could ever imagine doing on my best day in the following video.

"a four dimension beacon that exists simultaneously through our own recorded history"

I think Terrence McKenna suggested that the psychedelic mushroom/spores might be something like this.

It's a great analog between two different classifications. It made sense that if something requires to track and analyze evolutionary trends, the fourth dimension is a near perfect position to be in as well as providing a distinctive trace when history is recorded by those being observed.
