Laboratory Earth

Tinkering Around The Edges

“The Earth is a farm. We are someone else's property.”
― Charles Fort

Can any sentient creature be considered omniscient? The simple answer is no.. as far as we can evaluate what we do not know.  If we came upon a unknown planet or one whose systems remain a mystery such as our explorations of Mars have demonstrated, there would be a need for experimentation that is to say, a scientific procedure undertaken to make a discovery, test a hypothesis, or demonstrate a known fact.
We are continually experimenting with living systems to determine their nature and so the question is posed, are the experimenters being experimented upon? Is this another thread of  the anthropomorphous in the study of UFO phenomenon? Consider the uncertainty of a alien observer versus an immediate aim arising from a certainty that has no basis. As an insertion of a qualifier within this consideration, that is to say, removing omniscience suggests the probability of errors on both sides of this equation of experimentation. Another is the parallelism of an entirely natural process and the superimposition of experimenters who come upon an alien planet, our own. One embedded in the other in a meta-novel of shades and contrasts to be evaluated.
And so..does a theoretical methodology as I am proposing require our pockets to be picked?
Of course, one could take this theory and attribute it to a free floating anxiety expressed as s sort of paranoiac schizophrenia that infests our culture, or on the other hand, admit that such a scenario is to say the least, disquieting and so is denied, sublimated and reformulated in the safety of self comforting fantasies. Take your pick but in either case we are speaking of an emotional bias one way or another.Perhaps it's the instinct of self preservation.
In terms of a laboratory Earth, one considers Athur C Clarkes third law in regard to the proliferation of mythologies that have been applied to this phenomenon based on experiential anomalies  in that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Indeed. A source of disassociation from from a more sober consideration of the evidence in the chimera we are chasing belongs to us by mistaking an effect for a cause.

Means, Motive and Opportunity?
Is there a connection between photon activity in the environment and that which is transcribed in the mind that picks the pockets of individuated semiotics in the individual? The information field as suggested by Dr Vallee  in relation to a trigger mechanism of a localized high energy field may "fission information" as envisioned by Dr Presinger in relation to the rarity of transient, energetic and environmental anomalies that become experiential perhaps also suggests the inter-relationships that must coincide ( rarely) to produce a manifestation.
Statistical anomalies that may represent a sampling process. In sampling, a wide variegation in a wide swath may be required to obtain an averaged sample that is accurate. Minds that are alien to the experimenter being investigated to determine characteristic behaviors. In statistics and survey methodology, sampling is concerned with the selection of a subset of individuals from within a population to estimate characteristics of the whole population. For example( one of many), in one compendium, there are 6,500 living languages listed. Of these, 6,000 have registered population figures. 52% of the 6,000 languages are spoken by less than 10,000 people, and 28% are spoken by less than 1,000 people. 83% of them are limited to single countries. Each one is a set of semiotics.

Several theorists have proposed that consciousness can be understood as an electromagnetic phenomenon. Their theories differ in how they relate consciousness to electromagnetism. For example, electromagnetic field theories (or "EM field theories") of consciousness propose that consciousness results when a brain produces n electromagnetic field with features that meet certain criteria. bear in mind we are speaking of transient energy fields, information fields and the transference of information by photons , hence luminosity. The illustration below is a simplistic illustration of a complex process that would require a technology far beyond that of our own capabilities, and yet I ask myself, is this relationship that I can envision simply coincidental?

As in the last post, all of these factors remind one of the principles of the transmission of information via a fiber optic cable. Are we lodged in myths rather than thinking in "other categories?" Can information that is transferred represent a currently unknown state that is accessible to others with a sufficiently advanced knowledge of their mechanisms?

http://materialintangible.blogspot.com/2012/01/part-one-third-state-of-information.html

Consider this drawing as placed below this text as the illustration of a metaphor rather than an actual event. The event illustrated did not occur other than in the context of inter relationships that closely resemble human initiatory rituals, or visionary illustrations that resemble the construct of a dream, one that is shared in the abduction of a presumed control over events by "others." a strange telepathic thought form as a continually repeated illustration of inter-relationships. The events in of themselves are impossible but the metaphor suggests either a extraordinary coincidence or everyone connected with their experience is lying through their teeth. The other possibility is the insertion of a concept rather than a series of discrete events. Does this image represent the presence of a protocol of a experimental process rather than real events?

Consider geological time rather than next Wednesday. The object of the experimentation as a subject is an experiment upon a moving target rather than static phenomenon. Is this phenomenon being studied require the markers being moved to observe results?. Do the markers themselves in accordance to what is being studied change? Consider the evolution of the observable characteristics of the phenomenon which coincide with evolutionary characteristics of technological culture.

Have we made an ontological error in taking a metaphorical set piece akin to a thought form quite literally, thus causing a great deal of meaningless babble?

What if energy itself was a atmospheric mechanism to tamper with mind and matter in order to conduct experimentation or for that matter the steering of evolutionary bias? In other words if we frame anomalies with experimentation rather than a specific aim in mind, to determine results rather than to create them, does this "frame" fit?
Living systems are open self-organizing living things that interact with their environment. These systems are maintained by flows of information, energy and matter. The emphasis perhaps is the word open versus closed.
The nature of the experimentation would change over time. Experimentation would first have to be conducted in order to determine the means of the aim. Do we exist in someone's laboratory?
Others have considered this question in relation to unknown atmospheric phenomenon.
No blonde Venusians required.
In the abstract prepared as the introduction to a paper on "Estimates of Optical Power Output in Six Cases of Unexplained Aerial Objects with Defined Luminosity Characteristics" in the Journal of Scientific Exploration,
"An analysis of six cases of unexplained aerial phenomena observed by qualified observers over a twenty-year period in various parts of the Earth and in known physical conditions yields estimates of optical power output ranging from a few kilowatts to thousands of megawatts. This paper surveys the methods by which this parameter can be derived from witnesses' statements, it discusses the various hypotheses one could propose to account for the observations and it calls for a broad re-examination of sighting files in an effort to apply this methodology to a larger sample and to better understand the luminosity characteristics of the reported objects."
Without going into specifics of the paper Dr Vallee has underlined what Dr Presinger suggests, that experiential anomalies accompany a localized and transient change in state in the environment characterized by energy being observed as luminosity.   Others have theorized on this basis:

An Atmospheric Electrical Hypothesis for Spherical
Luminosities Occurring at Aircraft Altitudes

Why are these experiences that are anomalous so closely linked to the atmosphere? Simply put , the atmosphere is the most fluid, dynamic and energetic interchanging medium in our environment.
The difficulty in this is the tampering of the atmosphere by localized fields that are transient and naturally occurring, are strange statements  such as the one made on April 28, 1997 by US Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen, who gave an important keynote address at the Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and US Strategy at the University of Georgia in Athens. When asked a question about terrorism, Cohen had this to say as part of his response about the type of technology that existed, despite the fact it did not exist he said:
Others are engaging even in an eco-type terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves”
Really?

Of course few were aware of comparatively recent data released by Dimitar Ouzounov and colleagues from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland highlights some strange atmospheric anomalies over Japan just days before the massive earthquake and tsunami struck on March 11. Seemingly inexplicable and rapid heating of the ionosphere directly above the epicenter reached a maximum only three days prior to the earthquake. What these atmospheric anomalies represent are the presence of anomalous atmospheric ELF activity which has been studied in terms of atmospheric  research for some time. This is cited by yours truly as an apt example of how little we know of the interactions of energy fields.

The abstract: is as follows:

"Anomalous atmospheric light phenomena reoccur in many locations of Earth, some of which have become a laboratory area for a rigorous instrumented study of the involved physics. Three Italian missions to Hessdalen (Norway) furnished crucial multi-wavelength data, the analysis of which has recently permitted us to establish that the very most part of light phenomena are caused by a geophysical mechanism producing light balls whose structure and radiant characteristics are very similar to the ones of ball lightning. While most of light phenomena in Hessdalen and elsewhere can now be successfully explained within the framework of a natural mechanism, a residual of “locally overlapping data” remains presently unexplained. To investigate them also the ETV (Extraterrestrial Visitation) working hypothesis is taken into account. It is shown how the search for ETV (SETV), consistent with the assumption of interstellar and galactic diffusion, can be carried out only from a rigorous data screening coming originally from the study of natural phenomena."

No myths are required.

My suspicion if that if there is an extraterrestrial presence , the triangular craft are the real deal, the former was the "fun and games" portion of a speculative scenario as outlined above. Another phase.

Whether they belong to us or them..time will define that for us. More on triangular craft in the next post.
The concept of guerrilla ontology  as outlined by R,A Wilson, that parallel and multiple theories are superior to a singular reality tunnel allows comparative thought between them. This has always been the premise of Intangible Materiality. To provide as many comparative theories as possible to hopefully provoke an alternate window into a variety of matters.Perhaps the process has a higher value than any given speculative theory.
Perhaps not.

Wonderful story of huge and confusing words. Are you trying to dazzle us with your brilliance or baffle us with some bs

As far as the words, I tried to be accurate rather than general. As far as the story, I may have b****ed myself. None the less, I thought the considerations were interesting. As I said in the beginning of the post, its a story of shades and contrasts, between the natural world and what we generally consider, unnatural.
It's always up to the reader to determine whether it is interesting or fluff.

I wonder sometimes if there some deep connection concerning the inverse square law, that creates some metaphor for entanglement, that can be read as playful, or invasive, or as any other story, for that matter.

That law seems to govern both the inner and outer visual fields, and leads to fractal states, and simple reversing and flipping of binary images produces gods, and trees, and men.

That begs the question, why would any law be inverse and square, and be so productive, and so seemingly critical to any expression of energy?

Maybe that is some middle ground in the tension and balance between expansion and contraction of forces, I don't know, but maybe that can broadcast deep entanglement of neutrinos, and other expressions, into the organic perception of photonic information.

Sometimes I think these questions are also self-emergent artifacts from very simple structures.

The thought has occurred to me as well. The inverse nature of this phenomenon also suggests a mirror
either artificial or naturally occurring, or both. What I mean by both is that it may naturally occur in some form we are unaware of as in Vallees theory, and perhaps it could be accessed by a superior technology.
The jury is out.

And if the manipulation of what is natural is commonplace, maybe what is truly natural seems mechanical, by relative perception. Now you have spoken about that, it is interesting how perception of whatever that is usually is also described as more real, and natural, than the ordinary. Maybe it only seems crazy because the manipulation of events is of another order, and that could be sensed as an event under some perceptual control that is better at it than we are, and that is a fearful possibility, usually. Maybe processed as competition, or invitation, or war, depending on the understanding of the observer.

Now that seems like some ironic situation, how to segregate perception for purposes of clarity, without playing into another firm myth of being verses non-being. I wonder if that mirror doesn't have some sense of humour that gets lost in translation.

Neal,
"the manipulation of events is of another order" seems to encapsulate the situation as what "it" ( if it is singular) remains elusive in terms of the mind in nature. A sense of humor is helpful if not necessary.
Maybe it's "dazzling us with it's brilliance or baffling us with b.s"
I got a chuckle out of that one.
